Here is our most recent map showing filters currently in place, with orange lines to show where the current “no through traffic zones” start and end.
As you can see here, these are clearly not linked up at the moment, and are joining the dots between these zones to make a connected safe walking and cycling network for our community.
Below is an interactive google map of the filters, feel free to share either of these with anyone who needs to learn new routes around Levenshulme.
The council have an extremely high resolution version of this map here for anyone who wants more detail.
This is a pared back version of the previous scheme plans (see below), this map shows how a well designed LTN separates groups of streets into “no through traffic” zones. If any of these filters are paused/delayed you create “leaks” in zones and the LTN does not work as designed. This is why pausing/delaying individual filters is bad practice.
