Upcoming events
Look out for us at local events in the Levenshulme and Burnage area. We regularly run information stalls and free cycle repair. We offer basic repairs for child and adult bikes including puncture repair. Over the years we have helped hundreds of people get their bike back on the road.
Lev Square Fest 14th June 2026
Cuthbert Avenue Levenshulme
We are excited to be back at the legendary Lev Square Fest again this year. This is Levy community spirit at it’s finest, with food, music, kids activities and of course free (basic) bike repairs by Streets for People.
Fit Fest 1st August 2026
Cringle Park Levenshulme
Time to get your fit on for this year’s Fit Fest. Yes we will be diving into all things sporty. There will be games, sports and of course free bike repairs. Yes our lovely team of mechanics will be undertaking basic bike repairs to get you back on your bike. Hope to see you there.
Current campaigns
Our residents deserve to feel safe and enjoy the streets in their own neighbourhood. Our campaigns allow us to listen to the community and take action to help.
Acacias school street
In January 2025 we successfully supported Acacias primary school to launch a school street. The project was a joint collaboration between the school, local residents, and Manchester City council.
Marshall Road
There’s a tiny road with a lot of action in Burnage – Marshall Road. All in all it’s an unsafe nightmare and an accident waiting to happen. Streets for People has joined the fight, speaking up for hundreds of people who need to use Marshall Road as a walking and cycling route to school.
